These four states of consciousness are a path towards gradual transformation of the self. This workshop will address fundamental issues useful in developing an effective meditative practice. Each level of consciousness has strengths and challenges. Inner work can either lead to enhanced capacities or a loss of soul integrity depending upon the will and rhythm of the practice. In each session we will work with exercises that aid the student in recognizing errors and establishing strength.

Topics will include:

  • One pointedness,
  • yantra,
  • mantra,
  • morphological consciousness,
  • symbolic thinking,
  • stages of creativity,
  • hygienic prayer,
  • curses,
  • and pure thinking.
