From Struggle to Gratitude: Searching for Clarity

Rudolf Steiner College, 9200 Fair Oaks Blvd, Fair Oaks, CA 95628 (Map)

We will address methods for transforming personal struggles into clear insights about spiritual destiny. No efforts extended towards understanding human challenges are left unrewarded by the spirit. Using story, soul alchemy, neurology and inner picturing exercises, we will explore the destiny paths of two individuals whose spiritual struggles eventually brought them to clarity about their life mission. One is from genesis in the book of Job, the other is the well known Sun Dance teaching story Jumping Mouse. Both suffered rejection and by turning the soul towards clarity both found an inexhaustible source of spiritual force. Afternoons will be devoted to artistic practice.

Topics for this workshop will include:

  • meetings with remarkable people
  • the teaching of the angel of death
  • the karma of life mission
  • using polarity to turn struggles into insight
  • trust in life and developing a sense of gratitude for challenges

Guided Self Exploration through Art: building on themes from the presentations including polarity, meeting, movement, color, and transformation.
