Understanding the Etheric Realm

FRIDAY JANUARY 5, 2018, 9 AM – 5 PM

Yokayo Ranch, 800 Hensly Creek Rd, Ukiah

IN BIODYNAMIC CIRCLES the word etheric means different things to different people. Rudolf Steiner chose etheric since the ancient word aether meant a particular set of invisible organizing forces at work in the natural world. In Steiner’s day technical experiments were performed to prove or disprove the ether as a medium for physical propagation of light. This ether theorem was rejected through these experiments. This rejection came just at the time that Steiner was using the term ether in a completely different context. As a result there is much confusion around the use of the term etheric. These lectures will address the historical use of the concept of the etheric, the failed use of the idea of the etheric in modern science, and the advantages for using the polarities of elements and ethers as a backdrop for understanding the more spiritual principles in Biodynamics.

All proceeds are to benefit Luke Frey and biodynamic research after the fires in Redwood Valley.
